LRB decision on Section 12


This Notice is to advise the membership that after review by LABOUR RELATIONS BOARD ASSOCIATE CHAIR, Bruce Wilkins he has determined that the Union properly and appropriately structured the blended seniority list pursuant to BC LRB Policy (dovetailing) and that there was no discrimination or bad faith on the Unions part. He also pointed out how it is difficult to make some of these decisions but the Union put the time and resources in to make sure they were implementing the blended seniority in a way that would have the least negative impact on the membership.

We want to thank everyone for their patience and support during this period of uncertainty and can now move forward knowing that the current seniority in place will remain unchanged.
